All cancellations will be charged a 5% processing fee, as the credit card processors do not refund their fees. 

Cancellations made over 60 days before check in are 95% refundable. 

Cancellations made between 60-30 days before check-in are subject to a $25 cancellation fee per room per night.

Cancellations made between 30 - 14 days before check-in will be charged 50% of their reservation.

Within 14 days of check-in, reservations are non-refundable. 

Special events with a different cancellation policy: 

April 5-9th (Eclipse Weekend) rooms are non-refundable.

Our first policy is to serve you, to the best of our ability, and that you will enjoy your stay in Sackets Harbor and return as our guest. One way we provide our guests with an enjoyable experience is that we do not over book. Harbor House Inn has a limited number of rooms, so when you make your reservation, your room is guaranteed with a credit card, and the reservation is subject to our cancellation policy.

Rates may vary due to seasonality and are based on double occupancy unless otherwise indicated; add $10 per person, per night for additional guestsRates are subject to change at the owner’s discretion without noticeA light breakfast is provided to our guests at no chargePayment is due at check-out and can be made with cash or credit card. By asking us to reserve a room you automatically give us the authorization to charge your card in case of cancellation/no shows, as described belowIf you are redeeming a gift certificate the number must be provided when you make your reservation. In the event of a no-show or late cancellation, the gift certificate will be applied and any remaining balance charged to your card. Gift certificates expire one year from date of issue. If not used by the expiration date no refunds will be issued.

Check-in is any time after 3:00 pm. Early check-in is sometimes possible when requested. You may receive an email when your room is ready.Check-out is 11:00 am. Late check-out may be available only if your room is not reserved for that afternoon, for an additional $30 Late Check-Out Fee.Please return your key to the front desk. Lost or not returned key fee is $25Photo ID may be required at check-in

Should you need to cancel your reservation, you must go back and do it through your original booking agent’s website.

Guests generating excessive noise or bothering other guests will be asked to leave the Inn immediately without a refund

The Harbor House Inn is a completely non-smoking facility. Understand that if hotel staff find any evidence (such as used cigarettes and tobacco/vapor residue or odor) anywhere in the building, including the sleeping room, a $250 higher nightly room rate will be charged to the credit card that was used to secure the reservation or pay the higher room rate in cash at the time of checkout.Smoke detection monitors are in all guest rooms

At this time, we do not accept petsIf you do bring a pet with you, we can arrange with a local pet boarder to take care of your pet during your visit, for an additional fee

Any damages, stolen items, or broken items occurring during the stay will be the full financial responsibility of the guest, including anyone traveling with the guest.Any special clean-up resulting in damages caused by the guests will be charged to the credit card. Charges may need to be applied after guest departure as deemed necessary by the OwnerPlease report all spills and/or damages to the front desk promptlyAll items in the rooms can be purchased.
